How can you secure patio pots to concrete to prevent them from being stolen According to Bob Flowerdew, 'A simple security device is to drill an extra hole in the base of the pot and fit this with a bolt and large washers to a chain, fitted in turn by Pat Mansfield

Stains On New Patio

Has anyone had or have a patio pot grown cherry tree, i brought this specaily for the patio has i didnt want it getting too big but this summer & last years summer it lost its leaves early and what looked like sap laeaking out of tiny holes all over by lauralou

patio with circular bed
I have built a new circular patio and have created a circular bed all around to enclose it. Ideally i would like to plant a small hedge, but dont want it to grow more than about a foot wide or foot high. I know box is slow growing but was looking by paul killen

I am a pensioner who for many years used Sodium Chlorate to keep my paths and patio weed free. Since this was banned in 2009 I have been seeking a cheap but effective alternative as "Roundup" and other similar products are very expensive has anyone by Marian Brown2

Ideas for planters on patio?
We have bought two rectangular planters for our patio to sit under the kitchen window but have no idea what to put in them. We would like to use perennial cottage style plants (ideally purples/pinks) as with 3 children under 4, we do not always by LucyLocket5
