Mice Pies
Read with interest your article on garden pests including foxes, deer, squirrels and mice. Then read on in  the What's on in December that the RHS Gardens nationwide are offering mice pies. Good recipe for removing unwanted garden visitors by Roger 5

Talkback: Garden frost
Yes, you are correct after first frost it should kill most of the pests outdoors, or make then go into hibernating. -Brian I found a red lily beetle yesterday while turning over some soil - seems not all the pests are being killed off. My astrantia by kaycurtis

Wood Mice
but it has crossed our mind that they could become a pest, as in breed rapidly and start digging under the plants in the borders - does anyone know anything about the habits of the Wood Mouse?      Hello Willowplanter, I agree with you that they are cute by willowplanter

Curling tomato foliage
are pale and curled. There doesn't seem to be any pest present, but the crop is weak. Sounds like a silly question but are the leaves curling up at the edges or down at the edges? The difference usually leads to different diagnoses. Just to expand a little by florafanatic

Thousands of bees on allotment
it before and has no idea what to do.  Have been referred to pest control but no reply from them as yet.  As we are not 100% sure what type of bee they are we are scared that we are going to be stung or a swarm will form.  Advice will be gratefully received by Bath Bun

raspberry help
control them.any advice would be great thanks. Sounds like raspberry sawfly.  The only control I know is to spray with an insecticide just before the flowers open.  Look for one which mentions the more common gooseberry sawfly in the list of pests it deals by matmats123
