Green Houses
Green houses might be a bit expensive but they are definitely worthy. They don't only improve pest control, and help in regulating temperature, humidity, and water distribution; they also encourage good plant health and lead by Camelia2

Great Diving Beetle
you wouldn't let natural plants (weeds) do their thing in your flower beds without intervention.  Just because they don't get up and swim or crawl about doesn't make them less of a pest.   But my point is that if the newts and other pond residents by Jeanne F

late start,more advice please!!
April.  Winter will be late leaving us this year, keep on with the digging, as you will expose lots of pests eggs, such as slugs, which the birds will eat.  Digging when frost is due is also a good idea, as it helps to split the bigger clods of earth by geg jones

what is this thats killing all our hedge and what can i do
by killing anything they're culitvating! If the neighbours regard it as a pest, then I'd use weedkiller to try and get rid of it, a weed is just a plant in the wrong place.  If it's something that they've cultivated, do not use weedkiller on it, just cut any by christine de vries
