Conference pears
I have a conference pear tree in my garden but am never able to know when to pick them. They are either to ripe, (look good on the outside but rotten inside) or not ripe enough and never seem to ripen. Can any one advise me whether there is there a by ERB

RHUBARB
Hi have inherited a fan rhubarb plant in my new garden but have no idea how or when to pick it can anyone help thank you x Pull a stem backwards from the plant and it should come away easily at the bottom.  Only remove a few stalks at a time from by trishaloulou

Rubard just won't die back...
I've rubarb growing at the side of the garden and it is huge, it was picked for a final time about mid July, it's a well established crown but I don't remember it ever growing to this size, it's screaming out pick me and I'm tempted. Is it likely by Zoomer44

/16 weeks,it's advisable to cut the haulms off and leave the spuds in the ground for 2 weeks for the skins to set and then store as above. Alternatively you can pick them without the 2 week wait, they can be prone to slug damage,but be careful not to damage by Brycey D

Nice to have you back.The bird's have been picking up all the dog's fur for two week's now,We had a crow pick up more than was good for it as it just managed to get over the fence with a beak full,so much so it couldn't see where it was going by oldchippy
