Can I sow now?- Eryngiums, Echinacea, and the grass Stipa gigantea? Mystery
flowers are coming out, as are the perennial wall flowers, and amazingly the Communis Ricin caster Oil seeds have germinated where they fell to the ground when the plant went black with the frost- so will pot them on and hope for the best.  Thanks by dizzylizzy

planting broad beans
hi, I have planted broad beans for a while now but consistently suffer from 'misses'. Is there a correct position for the seed when planting to achieve a higher success rate, for example vertical, horizontal, flat etc? No, it doesn't matter exactly by Colrice

Talkback: Saving seed
is great for the fun he introduces. It is also very nice to have a relief from the very worthy current presenters of GW. I do not necessarily wish to grow my plants in old oil drums and am quite happy to carry on the 'good old way' but it has been fun by happymarion

tiny caterpillar
! If you ever find out from Mr Google or anyone, it would be interesting to know :- ) jo, most immature (baby) caterpillars are usually close to transparent with black heads. In short, get rid of them. No caterpillar in the vicinity of tomato plants by jo taylor2
