Growing Pumpkins Vertically

to resolve it? I assume that it's still in/been in flower recently, in which case a gentle support would help with appearance until flowering is over & it can be cut back for over the winter. This 'flopping open' is common with sedums especially if they by Phytographer

Talkback: Top 10 plants for containers
It would useful to have pictures of the plants mentioned on this page. I agree as i don't always recognise names! I really need to know what are the most hardy plants for containers. I have had my plants decimated by vine weevils and want to repot by shize56

support?   Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe these plants don't grow quite as big as some Jasmines???   I've got one growing in the garden, not a pot, so can't help you there. Mine is planted in a sheltered spot in the garden and hardy, we have by tattianna

Wisteria Alba: sudden death
the wall in full sun. It was supported on a frame. No sign of disease and I had watered and mulched as usual throughout the growing period.... can't think what killed it. Any ideas? PS. One stem has layered itself so there might be hope for a resurrection by rockette

Hi. I have a shrub boarder running the length of my fence apart from right near the end. Last year I had a plant pot with some flowers in it. This year i'd like to do something a bit more permanent. The depth is probably about a foot/foot and half by David 25

What did you do in your garden today?
physical weakness at the first knuckle on the floweriing stems so each year I support with thin canes then they will flower upright til the autumn.  The golden oat grass is lovely plant. If you don't grow this then do. Planted some perennials and hardening by LeadFarmer
