Talkback: Autumn gardening jobs

the first crocus opened on 1/23 here in reno nv- they are tommasianus-a few dozen planted 30 years ago have multiplied into thousands-crocus chrysanthus is budded but is waiting for a few days of sun-today it is 60 degrees and spring seems very by david spikes

Dig up and make new
black tulips from Amsterdam last year for me and planted them. An hour after I spoke to my neighbour and he said that we had Squigs (squirrels) and that they would dig them up. Mum and I spent a further two hours searching. Head torches and all. We got by Verdun

especially since I cannot visit any NGS/NT gardens due to lack of transport (I don't drive and my nearest one is more than five miles away) so always appreicate a sneek peek.  I love plants so much, I wish Monty did a program just walking around featuring by sotongeoff

Spring -summer
I know I'm way ahead here but still a new garden , so... Currently it is spring bulbs, tulips, daffs , snowdrops, hellebore.. What is next ? My garden is very much summer and am trying to move to winter interest ,spring interest into summer by Bunny..

What a beautiful plant. I was wondering if anyone has experience of leaving their canna lillies outside over Winter? I live in Bucks and thought I would give it a go this year with the winters' seeming to be milder now. It's a Canna iridiflora by Lorrie Flannery

Plants still in flower?

Tonight's programme
On tonights prog. it was mentioned that the list of euphorbias was on the website. Also other things that are mentioned in the prog. ie. plants featured, gardens visited, are all introduced as 'on the websiite'. Am I thick or just not looking by diggingdoris

having a moan about...
weeks already. It's so wonderful at this time of year to see them so pure and white and in such profusion. It tells me winter is on its last knockings and spring is just around the corner.  Next will be the Crocuses, then Daffs, then the Tulips by ilovemontydon
