I have a dog and have been told that the tree lillies I am growing are poisonous is this true. My sweet peas have been covered in pollen beetles and no amount of shaking gets rid of them is there anything i can spray them with ? The best way really by Sweet pea

Mites in seeds
as a way to kill house dust mites so mite (he hee) work and a lot of seeds can stand freezing.Just a thought. If they are red in colour I would say spider mites, if greyish, they could possibly be pollen mites Too tiny to be flea beetle I'd say, not red by Lokelani

LILY BULBS
I have had problems with the dreaded Lily beetle this year so I want to lift them and plant them under cover for next year. As I would like to plant something else I would like to do this ASAP. Do I treat than like spring bulbs and feed them by lindapalmara

swarm of bees, sacks full of pollen on their legs, trying to locate their tunnels. I felt really guilty about disturbing them so I finished the job as fast as I could and replaced things as well as I could. I have to keep fishing them out of the pond now by happymarion

are not bugs but pollen beetles. The way I clear them is to hold the bunch of flowers in my hand, extend my arm and swing it round like a windmill, as fast as I dare without wrecking the flowers. It's a similar action to drying lettuce held in a tea towel by gwen large
