Seedlings and frost
mix, cosmos, poppy, parsley, rocket, spinach, chives, coriander, spring onion. All are tiny, just starting to sprout true leaves. Cosmos and possibly rocket might appreciate some fleece or a sheet of newspaper. The restshould be OK. Seeds that have by PaperFlowers

How to prevent damping off?
to ensure the survival of this batch of seedlings would be greatly appreciated! I have not had a problem since I put a 50% mix of perlite or sand or grit with the compost. When I started gardening I tried to germinate ordinary poppies indoors and 2 days by PurplePoppy

Gardening in Afghanistan
that grow in South Africa, or maybe poppies (we all know poppies grow well in Afghanistan). Californian poppies are colourful, easy to grow, and like it hot. Thanks for your comments, We have very cold winters here, went down to -18 this year. Winter goes by Budgieo

Best blue flowering plant
poppy. Lithadora Heavenly Blue is wonderful as is Grace Ward. I like Ageratum fluffy plant looks pretty low growing, I like blue cornflower and small blue sweet peas. Blue and yellow flowers do look nice together Do you grow lots of blue flowers by Verdun

Only Three

Beginner failing miserably.

Indoor seedlings not getting enough light
I have Morning glory, sunflowers, Dahlia's, columbine and poppies sitting on a windowsill. They are still very young, they only germinated about 3 days ago. The leaves on the MG are starting to turn a creamy colour and getting leggy by Arose
