and plant the potatoes. As the stems grow put another car tyre on the first one and fill with compost. Keep this going until you have about 4 car tyres and keep the compost well watered. When it comes to harvesting you just remove the tyres one by one by softyglo

Feeding potatoes in bags.
I was advised to feed my potatoes which are in bags. They are growing nicely and have reached the top of the bags. Due to all of the rain we have had , the compost is really wet so making it impossible to water any feed in. Should I be covering by Nidge

Potatos after Jerusalaem Artichokes
Hi, Just dug up all my artichokes as, I need the bed for other things. Can I follow them with potatos? I'm not sure what they are classed as so I don't want to plant the same crop category in the same bed.   Artichokes are going elsewhere.   Regards by Andrew Kenneth

My Potatoes looked fantastic but never did flower and have no potatoes on them not even small ones can you tell me why.I did plant them in new soil that I bought by the lorry load by the way I live in Spain and I am growing them under cover. Can you by john lawson

And then it goes on to destroy your tomatoes! Blight really is the word! Where are potato blight testing kit available from and at what cost? I used to be a fan of Belle de Fontenay but if there is any blight about they will get it. So it really by Frances M

Premature potato furtling...

Why Are My Potatoes Producing Tomatoes
. Very odd. Any ideas?  The are the fruit containing the seeds of the potato plant and they are poisonous - DO NOT EAT THEM. People new to potato growing are sometimes confused by the term 'seed potatoes'.  They are not the green fruit that you have seen by TheSloth

Potatoes losing their leaves
Hi, My potato crop has suddenly lost all their leaves and I am just left wth a bare stalk and on some, rock hard, green cherry tomatoe looking fruit. Does anyone know what has happened and will the crop be OK to harvest in a few weeks time? I only by Jan19
