This will be the first time I have ever grown potatoes. I am growing them in bags, as my Mother has been extremely sucessful with this method. Her Potatoes last year tasted gorgeous and my Husband and I loved going round to dinner! I took my seed by Pebble Garden

My First year
So the potatoes did well, despite letting them get frost burned. However, I got one carrot from 2 rows and that was some wierd mutent and half of my parsnips look like hairy potatoes. What did I do wrong? Also I have straws and rasps established by B3nnyB0y

Talkback: How to earth up potaotes
not much room so have made a couple of boxes 4ftx4ft & plan to grow potatoes in large flower tubes. Unsure if they will be deep enough at 14"? Do I need to feed, if so what & when? I've watched and read about potatoes - now I'm going to give it a go by 3154

I think my green fingers are failing me
Having moved into a new house two years ago, I have tried, unsucessfully to grow potatoes in my "veg plot". I have tried different varieties, but although I get good healthy growth on the top, and plenty of potatoes, they are all scarred and rotten by Carol Oxborough
