Crop Rotations in raised beds
HI My raised bed crop rotation consists of Bed 1: Brassicas Bed 2 Legumes and onions, strawberries Bed 3 salad, parsnips, sweet potatoes, carrots, radish Where in my rotation could I add another extra raised bed of white red and japanese onions by Rosie27

Talkback: Christmas vegetable harvest
Our christmas new potato's didn't survive even though they had been fleased for about six weeks because of the sub zero temps for days on end (end of november and december)but we'll try again next year and it toped up the compost bin and the handful by smithsindeed

spuds
I'm growing potatos for the first time they are in 12inch deep raised beds, someone told us that when the green leaves start to come thru to cover them with soil, ive done this twice now, but how many times do i do this as the spud plants ive seen by tommysmith

Yes, I'd love to see construction details too - I'll get my hubby to build one for me aswell! I haven't got a problem with a hot box (I don't think). But I WOULD like to try growing SWEET potatoes if it's possible in this country. Has anyone by Colin Knill

Wet Weather
I've got hundreds of baby veg and flower plants all ready to plant out but it hasnt stopped raining. Should i plant them out or wait for better weather? I've also got my potatoes ready to go into the ground but i think its to wet. What should i do by nicola brookes

Old Compost
Hola, Ok I'm a complete newbie to this, so be patient. Can I use old potato compost from last years tubs along with general purpose from other pots etc and the tomato compost from the hanging baskets to dig into my raised beds? My thinking being by Simon5

Which spuds to get...
Estima and Wilja. Wilja are nice and creamy when mashed. Main crop,Desire. I've still to go to the local potato fair but with only two spare growing bags and Red Duke of York a favourite, was going to go for another main crop to fill the last bag by Zoomer44

Fertilising plum trees
the same as potato fertilizer (which is usually much cheaper!)  In general you should look for ones with high K (Potash) with N (Nitrogen) and P (Phosphorous) being lower and about the same as each other, in the NPK ratio on the box. Something with N-P-K of by sam1987
