Growing Lillies in containers
up as they grow -like earthing up potatoes As they are small bulbs-all the same?-put them in a container say 8 inches in diameter should they be able to see light. i.e dont cover them completely and do i grow indoors? No -they are hardy-need to grow by David 25

How To Start Veg Growing
garden centre near you and buy some early potatoes.  You will probably be able to buy a handful of several varieties rather than a large pack of one. thank you all for the excellent advice. shall let you know how i get on. happy growing Vegatable growing by tony68

Good Evening FORKERS
. Evening, got my potatoes Maris Peers in today, planted some gladioli bulbs which I got free from the GC in the greenhouse, gave my spring flowering bulbs a feed, and carried on painting our fence. 11 panels down, 7 to go . All in all, a good day though by blackest

Vine Weevil
weedkiller, very carefully as there seems to be evidence that it is not broken down in the soil as claimed. I soray my fruit trees with an Insecticidal soap and later on with Copper sulphate. Will do the potatoes with it as well. But only when the insects by Pamela14

Pound shop plants- any success stories?
me tell you about mine last year.  I went to B&Q at the beginning of May and bought seed potatoes that were on offer for 10p per net bag.  The potatoes were past their best and sprouting through the net, but worth a chance for the pennies they cost. I by Surbiton_Margot
