've been using to grow potatoes in. We didn't want to add anything else to it so the weekend grass clippings can start off the new one. We're going to compost cardboard in this one as well. We have noticed the wildlife in the first one and along by Estelle Bryers

,(paper is made from this)animal and bird manures including night soil if you can get it,but I would not use cat or dog droppings, coal ash may contain sulphur but we used to get some of the best potatoes off our local council tip during the last war,and tomato by frances
