gunky potatoes
Hi , last year my three year old son and myself attempted to grow potatoes.  It was far from a sucess. They ended up all mushy and gunky.  I dug them all up and turned the soil. I filled it with home grown compost and covered it down for the winter by Marge Doran Keenan

POTATO SEEDS
chitting later this month? Why don't you plant them in pots of compost , then when you do plant them out they'll have a flying start. I think if you knock off the shoots, they may not shoot again. If you wanted to hold these seed potatoes back until June by HomemanLL

Sweet potato
Peeling a shop-bought sweet potato recently, we found it was beginning to sprout. I firmed in the pieces of peel into damp compost and now leaves are beginning to grow happily. Too late into the growing season to hope for results but, question is by paull2

potato sack compost
can I use the compost from the potato sack again for the next lot of potatoes? This is my first time growing potatoes and there were not that many of them (is this normal?) but they are delicious! You shouldn't use it for potatoes again to avoid by marypig
