Allotment Potato Blight
We have 48 allotments on our site here in Anglesey, and we were hit severly this year with blight. What advice would you give for growing potatoes in 2013, yes we know about rotation etc, we are organic, so limited to soil treatment, please advise by HomemanLL

Vales Emerald Potatoes.
potatoes, nice and clean. Then I cooked them as I normally cook potatoes, with some springs of mint, to have with a salad for tea and what a disappointment. They were not nice at all. They broke up in the water, and tasted of absolutely nothing. The Maris by lovetogarden

Weird spots - potatoes
This is a new one on me. I have potatoes in buckets on spent compost. This has bed done before with no problems but they have been slow and not grown as much as I would have hoped. But more importantly they have developed tiny spots( like rust spots by * Red Dahlia *

Cara Seed potatoes
I have just found one of my 5 kg bags os seed potatoes ( stored in my garage)contained 3 rotten seeds that have caused the rest of the seeds to begin chitting with white shoots up to 4 centimeters in length. I dont want to plant out until the first by HomemanLL

monty don asked on friday 20th programme what best varity of seed potatoes have viewers sown.and i think you cannot go wrong with charlotte and maris bar new potatoes.each year i grow them in potatoes bags and i get within 2to3 pounds of potatoes by ellios
