Powdery mildew.
I have powdery mildew on my sweetpeas and there are a lot of other plants nearby . I treated it with a fungicidal spray but then read of an alternative method using baking soda . Has anyone tried this and if so does it work ? I like the idea as I by jean riley

Powdery mildew
Quite a few of my Cucumber leaves have developed powdery mildew already I don't want to use a chemical spray and seem to remember something about using full cream milk and water - I think the ratio was 1 part milk to 9 parts water . Does anyone by lilylouise

Apparently mildew has been a prolific problem this year according to Mail Order Trees from whom I purchased a 2 year old Amelanchier canadenisis which quickly developed the disease. Have pruned heavily and will spray with fungicide. I have powdery by hmroot

powdery mildew spots on courgette leaves
Hi, could anyone advise me please on what to do about powdery mildew on my courgette leaves. there are big white spots on some of them but a couple are covered all over the leaf. apart from that they look quite healthy and are starting to flower by elizabeth cooley

Talkback: Dealing with red spider mite
The cucumber plants in my greenhouse were growing well but started to develop "powdery mildew" which I was told was due to the atmosphere being too moist.I tried to increase ventilation and water carefully.I now have mildew and red spider mite which by Jackers

downy mildew
I think i have downy mildew on my greenhouse cucumbers, any suggestions?? thanks Are you sure it's downy mildew and not the more common powdery mildew? Treat ment of the latter here, and of downy mildew here. More likely powdery mildew, it gets my by chicken!

mildew...and yes, it thrives in wet weather. HI davidK THANKS FOR YOUR EPLY. I HAVE LOOKED UP AN IMAGE OF POWDERY MILDEW AND IT DOEN'T LOOK LIKE THAT. THE SPOTS ARE NOT POWDERY AND THEY ARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A PIN HEADSCATTERED ALL OVER THE LEAF. ANYBODY by smortimer0
