Growing seeds
Is there any way I can grow plants from seed without a greenhouse, shed or propagator?   Money is very tight and for instance I would like to grow some erigeron but I can't see how I can do it though it would be much cheaper than buying plants. I by Supernanauna

cacti soil
completely, I mean more like a sieve. I would not think it bad to have 10% compost or soil, mixed with 90% fine grit and sharp sand. In fact the best way he found to propagate cacti was to stand the cuttings in sand that is kept damp, but stood on a saucer by Alan4711
