says, could be caused by 'damping off' they only need heat until they show. what were the seeds Stephen? Some are more fussy and too wet is a strong possibility. I've never had great success with heated propagators. I have more success if I get them out by stephen coombes

Sloe Berry
I found a sloe berry tree (Blackthorn) on a country lane way near Drogheda co louth, how can I propagate  this plant so that I can grow it on my allotment site. regards Derek   Bit of a waste of allotment space.  Sloes are usually gathered from by Derek Mulready

Talkback: How to sow tomato seeds in coir pellets
will better this year than last, here's hoping! The instructions on my mini propagator complete with coir pellets said to cover with vermiculite and leave in a well-lit place. Did that before watching this video. Hope I didn't get it wrong.... by scarlet1958

Rose cuttings

slus and flour
time I've done it so I'll see if I can bump up the old thread and we can both refresh our memories. Pesky slugs/snails on the top shelf of my propagator have munched on some baby delphiniums. Edit: You need to mix the flour with water. by 4711

star jasmine propergation
but with no sucess. any help would be great. Thanks Heal cuttings usually take quite well. layering is also a good method of propagation for Jasmine, if you find any low shoots touching the soil you may find some of them have already started to root. by rumpleteazer

Is it too late to take pelargonium cuttings?
Is it too late to take cuttings from my plants?  I planted seeds for the first time earlier this year and the plants still look healthy. I would particularly like to propagate the white one as it looks good on my semi shaded rockery. I would have by Kathy 2

open to stop damp off.   thank you for any help 7 degrees is not that warm What are you growing Brian?-once germinated you need to remove the pots/trays from the propagator. Once the plants are big enough to handle they should be pricked out into pots by Brian Tillotson

Need Bees This Year!
even more for free in the long run (like Monty does)... Anyone got any suggestions? Lupins, delphiniums, foxgloves, rudbekia, lots of perennials will attract bees and propagate well. Thankyou Lyon, do you know of any clump forming perennials off hand by Ryan Lloyd
