slus and flour
time I've done it so I'll see if I can bump up the old thread and we can both refresh our memories. Pesky slugs/snails on the top shelf of my propagator have munched on some baby delphiniums. Edit: You need to mix the flour with water. by 4711

star jasmine propergation
but with no sucess. any help would be great. Thanks Heal cuttings usually take quite well. layering is also a good method of propagation for Jasmine, if you find any low shoots touching the soil you may find some of them have already started to root. by rumpleteazer

Is it too late to take cuttings from my plants?  I planted seeds for the first time earlier this year and the plants still look healthy. I would particularly like to propagate the white one as it looks good on my semi shaded rockery. I would have by Kathy 2

Need Bees This Year!
even more for free in the long run (like Monty does)... Anyone got any suggestions? Lupins, delphiniums, foxgloves, rudbekia, lots of perennials will attract bees and propagate well. Thankyou Lyon, do you know of any clump forming perennials off hand by Ryan Lloyd

How do I take and grow cuttings of Smoke Tree (royal Purple) please?
another smoke tree though, mine died last summer. I fear honey fungus. I have propagated both by semi-ripe cuttings. You take a 6-8 inch cutting with this years growth on it and bury the bottom 4 inch or so in the soil. The highest chance of getting them by davielovesgravy
