garden furniture
I've recently bought some wrought iron garden furniture.  What could I put on the feet to protect my timber decking ? Any suggestions ? Garden sleepers How about those sticky felt pads that you can use  on furniture if you have wooden floors ? Only by Stephen Lawrence

Buddleia
I have 2 buddleia plants currently in greenhouse and planning to create a new bed for these and various other things, am wondering whether they will need protection at all ...mainly wind I'm concerned about as they will get a battering being by bunnysgarden

Something for a windy corridor
I am looking for suggestions for a tree/shrub to plant as protection for other plants.  the area concerned is at the side of the house between the house wall and a six feet high fence.  The wind whistles along this and I want to protect the plants by Grannybear

Chiicken v's Veggies
What is the best way to protect a large vegetable patch from free roaming chickens?  Is fencing the only option (other than getting rid of the chickens)? Thanks Afraid so, mine eat everything if i let them. I put flat wooden posts into the ground by skinnycat

Tidying up herbaceous plants for winter
I'm in two minds about clearing up summers perennials that are now fading from green to yellow/brown. Somebody once told me to simply leave it to provide winter protection for the plant, and the garden wildlife (both good and bad), but I have a by Tim Burr

Young Beach Hedge
I planted bare rooted beach hedge plants last November. Each has a cane and a spiral to protect them from rabbits etc. They are now all very green and leafy so how long should I leave the spirals on? They seem a bit restricted with the spirals by Corinne Hitching
