'll keep reading. Really not safe to light candles in there. The whole place could burn down - along with all your plants. Getting big chunky candles, therefore, is a bad idea. would tealights not provide enough heat to protect from frost and also up the CO by funkyjunkie23

looking. (Can we say "phallic" on the BBC?)In the past we used to let our Christmas trees dry out, and them we'd eventually burn them in the fireplace. The branches are useful also for protecting tender plants from late frosts. How about this? it was done by Ben Linsell

it was 1976. The seafront was swarming with them. No wonder they are seeking refuge in our centrally -heated houses in very cold weather, but they don't bite as far as I know and do help protect our plants from aphids. it a lovely place for the bees I have by kaycurtis

problem is thanks. What size are the seedlings now and where are they in terms of protection from the elements and a source of decent light? The brown and white marks could either be a fungal infection or an excess of moisture in the soil. It's hard by southwickman
