Talkback: How to treat peony wilt
I always leave my cutting back to early spring, and when I see the new growth just starting to come through I then cut back all the old growth. by leaving it until the early spring the old growth helps to protect the crown from the ravages by judy4652

suitable plants for a middle sized put

I grew some spring cabbages for the first time this year, I managed to protect from the blasted pigeons all winter and they look really good.  On closer inspection however they have no hearts, what happened? Same with mine.  I have planted more than by annaloubee

Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens'
Hi I've just planted a Thuja hedge and I'm not sure whether to stake or not. The hedge is protected from wind and in a sheltered position. Also, should I encourage the pants to have one leader or just leave them to get on with it. If it helps by petehaskell

yucca
this year i got rid of my yucca plant replaceed it with  a lilac primrose and cape daisy and pensinmums plus others, what has come up and taken over a bit is borage,throgh has protected some of the  plants i planted iam slowly reduing the borage by David Thomas

Planting out cauliflower

Bees caught in fleece
