Advice on Pruning Mock Orange
Hello All,  Have a Mock Orange shrub that's about 3ft wide and 10/12 foot high... understand that this is the right time to prune - flowers are just fading - looked online and advice suggests removing about 1/3 of the old growth.... I started to do by SebUK

be left alone, unless there's a compelling safety reason. You say that the tree is 'lovely'. When a large tree is cut back, then that does inevitably spoil the appearance of the tree. I have seen some pruned trees which look really hideous. Large trees by Rowan3

to prune or not to prune
i bought a couple of 'blue chip' dwarf buddleias last year but the planting instructions didn't say whether to prune or not to maintain their shape and promote flowers.  advice please! I've just pruned my dwarf buddleias for the 3rd year in a row by gardeners delight

hydrangea pruning
How hard can you prune hydrangeas and if i do will they still flower next summer? If you prune them now you are likely to lose next years flowers-the buds form behind this years What you could do is prune half one year and half the second year-but I by michael neill
