Rose cuttings
. Thank you for any advice you can give. well I have a lot of cuttings from my mothers garden from roses that were popular in the 60 s.I take cuttings regularly mainly autumn time when i am pruning or when I am cutting the roses back.I put then in a good by Panoply

tell me when to prune dead branches from an Acer Palmatum. It is quite a large tree but keeps dying back on one side. I really need to remove them now to enjoy the tree over the spring and summer but don't want to loose it. Will it kill the tree if I by cskourte

and osteospurnum which I did not prune in spring, they both went mad with new shoots all along the stems which have themselves got very woody, what I would like to know is whether I can prune them in spring and if I can, can I prune them down to the ground by super mum

cropper.and provided enough fruit to last more than one year.Pruning was great fun. The beast would fight back to the very end,but it's flavour was worth it.I had for 20 years. Now I am trying a thorn-less variety. I will have to be a little more patient by joseph woosey northwood allotments

bushes 2 yr old have not fruited at all i have pruned them early in the year they have grown well and look good. Gooseberries produce most of their fruit on spurs that are located on two- and three-year-old wood. After pruning, a healthy bush should have by Terry R

  growing over a shed. I'll have a look at Clematis Montana Thanks It certainly looks like one of the Clematis Montana's,if there is a slight perfume it may be Montana Elizabeth,but which ever one it is, it can be kept in check by pruning after flowering by Hollie- Hock

help with 2 plants please- Clematis Jackmanii(?) and Rhodedendron(?)
in Jan/Feb (seems to have come back well) but i was unsure what type it was, after some research i think it is a Clematis Jackmanii Superba but still not 100% sure.  The care tips for Jack are to prune in spring (too late now) and i have no idea how by siminstance
