Cordyline Australis "Sundance"
One of my cordyline's is filling with water in the core, is this normal?  If not how can I stop this happening, I'm concerned thatit might rot. The leaves obviously funnel the rain water-you cant stop nature-just push a  leaf down a bit and force by mdw84

Wet Weather
I've got hundreds of baby veg and flower plants all ready to plant out but it hasnt stopped raining. Should i plant them out or wait for better weather? I've also got my potatoes ready to go into the ground but i think its to wet. What should i do? by nicola brookes

Hi rockette, you say it is planted at the foot of a wall. I wonder if it is too dry? The immediate area next to a wall gets very little rain, known as a 'rain shadow'. That, coupled with the extremely dry autumn, may have contributed to the plant by rockette

Salads in Pots

Potato Buckets
Hi All I just gone to dig up some of my potatoes out of my big potato buckets and as you get down to the bottom of the bucket, where we have had so much rain, the compost smells stagnant.  Is this normal and will the potatoes still be ok to munch by Catseyes411

Evergreen Feed & Weed
On saturday i put some feed & weed on the lawn, it then rained a couple of hours after and most of yesterday afternoon. I have noticed large black patches forming where the main consentration of weeds are bit it seems to be turning the grass black by Doctor_63

onions
My onions have been a disaster this year! Some have grown normally but the majority never got started with all that rain and cold weather. My question is, can I save the onion sets that never got started and plant them again next year? They are firm by ladymuckypup

Lawn maintainace
We laid a new lawn in April on the back plot. I have been intending to scarify, airate and dress this Autumn, but have had no time inbetween the rain until now. Our beautiful green new turf has developed yellow blades this autumn and the lawn by Pebble Garden
