Talkback: The field maple
. I went out this morning and photographed red acers and yellow limes and noticed that even the oak trees have spectacular colour this year and a beautiful buttercup yellow is showing on one of my alpine shrubs, a Japanese willow. Everyone should by happymarion

Identification of climber
house might have planted that is only just getting into its stride.  It is about to come into flower and has lots of tiny green/cream-coloured buds.  Many thanks in advance.     Hi there - can't be certain but looks like Virginia Creeper to me. We have by Grayfleur

Shrub
and tend to use an obelisk at the back corner. The field behind is hay/sileage and often has cattle , sheep in . I don't need evergreen as to be honest I have lost ceanothus and red robin at the back or should I stick with obelisk . a flowering red currant by bunnysgarden

favorite clematis of the spring.
've seen them growing wild in the woods in Austria in the Spring. J. It's lovely.  Unfortunately all my alpinas, montanas and macropetalas have been frozen to death over the last few winters so my first flowerer is a group 1 called Red Robin by flowering rose

Talkback: Ornamental veg
I picked a huge frilly, red Lollo Rosso lettuce the other day to get some leaves for my lunchtime sandwich. The fridge was stuffed with my produce from the garden so where to put the rest? It was so pretty it went into the flower vase and kept by abbed

unknown flower
not a good angle but I planted afew of these & they either died or slugs got at them..today has actually got a flower. Like a daisy (red) petals are folded like tubular in shape. very pretty indeed. do I collect seed , will it come up again . thanks by jean linsley

Any one know what this tree is please
Evening All, Bought a house last year november, with a tree in the middle of the lawn.  Thought it might be cherry (flowering), but have been surprised with the dark red of the blossom.  My search has lead me on to a crab apple but I am just by White Rose

my miny rose is flowering lovely and my friend has a lovely dark red and a climing white un named in full flower they look lovely We have a banksiae rose which we planted 3 years ago to climb over an arch way. It has grown very well but we can by deborah copping

Echinaceas
brilliant orange and about to flower any day now, it was left in the ground last year. Hot Papya is a double red, strong and long flowering and is now in its second year. This one was potted up in greenhouse for winter. Want to try more though by christopher2
