Talkback: Growing veg in containers: keep it cropping
think red spider mite sounds like a probably culprit, unless blight got into the greenhouse (but blight wouldn't affect chillies and salad leaves). Is there any evidence of a pest on the plants? Red spider mites, for example, create webs around by lusia62

of tiny little red dots on the infected bits, they are not moving either as I thought they might be spider mites but they can't be. Tiny red dots = coral fungus.  Out with it instantly.  Dig over the soil and improve by adding compost or leaf mould.  Don by Mattbeer87

Biggest Aspidistra ???
classy! We grew a lot of them in a public garden I used to work in. We had to keep them under a bench in one of the glass houses to prevent too much sun from getting to them. Emma gardenersworld.com team I've found mine surprisingly prone to red spider by jean riley

fancy chilli varieties? Try growing 'Cayenne', and avoid growing them in a greenhouse as they're likely to attract red spider mite etc. A large pot and a sunny windowsill and you're laughing.Gardening Express - I agree that many plants sown too early by Gardening Express

Help identifying plants.
's leaves if it gets too dry, and is a martyr to red spider mite and scale insect. Not that I want to put you off, as it's a lovely plant! When it gets big, the leaves are coarser and less interesting, but I can guarantee you won't get that far. If it starts by Bonnie2

Greenhouse beginner
days as this also helps keep the temperature down and deters red spider mite which can be a problem in hot dry conditions.I have invested in a Max/Min thermometer which tells me the lowest and highest temperature in the greenhouse. As Geoff says by kjdintown
