Pieris Japonica
phytophera is affecting a lot of plants incl azalea, rhododendrons and pieris....encouraged by this wet winter amd spring.  Fungal leaf spots too are rife. Are you over watering?  Still bit cold for plants to need much watering by Huntertony

help with 2 plants please- Clematis Jackmanii(?) and Rhodedendron(?)
to about 30cms when you see new shoots forming at soil level and feed it.  It will then put on new growth for the season.  You can then train these new shoots along youur wires. Rhododendrons like woodland settings with acidic soil enriched by leaf mould by siminstance

to provide protection in winter.   Apologies, lots of questions - hope you can help.  Thank you. Pinkpeony, Camellia need a west facing sheltered spot, they do like sun but the root ball needs to be cool. West facing means they do not get early morning sun by pinkpeony

' and a couple of rhododendrons that have lost all of their leaves, who knows what we will find we unwrap the bananas and palms - mush probably. But all is not lost my winter box is perfuming the whole garden.The big question is how long to wait for them by Flowers
