Is a mixture of bonemeal and multipurpose compost ok to plant a Photinia Red Robin? It it about 3 feet high and will go from a pot into the ground. Thanks. Dig your hole then mix a small amount of bonemeal with the bottom soil - don't use too much by Supernanny

Photinia Red Robin pruning?
I have a well established Photinia Red Robin, which had lovely red shoots that are now maturing and turning green. I know that if I prune it back this will encourage new red shoots, but I can't remember when to do this. Is now a good time? Yes by Green Magpie
