Talkback: Goldfinches, cats and children
problem is the squirrels and the neighbours cats also-I don't want to exclude the squirrels I just wish they'd leave some food for the birds.I have 3 robins and 3 pairs of blackbirds, blue tits and some great tits and another regular is a fox. Any by Roy McFarland

the robins have territories across it and they vary a lot in their markings,some much darker brown and some with bigger red breasts. "The Wonder of Weeds" programme on BBC4 tonight at 9 promises to make our wildlife gardening even more exciting, at last by miss daisy

chaffinch, 2 dunnock, 2 collared dove, 1 feral pigeon, 6 blue tits, 2 great tits, 1 coal tit, 2 pheasant, 5 blackbirds 2 robin and this was good enough for the time there ! I kissed seeing the usual gang of spuggies seething around the hedge by donutsmrs

Talkback: Garden birds in the snow
get robins, sparrows, pigeons, thrushes, blackbirds, blue tits, finches, all types of birds, some I don't know the names of, but all lovely. I hang feeders out from my window in the living room, filling them with mixed seed, sunflower seeds and nuts by kathryn-brock

Thoughts on Nesting Boxes
Two years ago I bought a robin nesting box, the sort which have quite a large front opening. The Dunnocks decided to use it to raise a family in. Alas the Magpie soon spotted the nestlings and had the lot. Now the Dunnocks by daydaisy

for attention and the Tawny Owls call across the fields and the night sky is full of a million stars; when the robin sings to the moon and the pheasant gets hysterical... that's the time to get the seed trays cleaned ready for the great planting. I love by grandiflora

Climbers for north facing fence in pots
