Thoughts on Nesting Boxes

lots of green parrots on my bird feeders.I had the pleasure of a nuthatch on mon/tue,as well as loads of other regulars.Doves,robins,longtailed tits,to name a few.Total pleasure. by Spud

Climbers for north facing fence in pots

rejuvenating shrubs
I have two photinia fraseri red robin, both very leggy. Has anyone chopped these severely to give them a kick start? Also, have a pieris that has stopped growing (in between the photinia but has some space). Any suggestions? Thanks, folks by flowerpower5

Vistors had a party yesterday
cat!    I had goldfinches,great tits,blue tits,wren ,robin and the returning blackbirds all rummaging around the garden for nest material until the bigger birds came down,good to keep them on their toes. by scotkat

Pruning a Photinia
I have a Photinia Red Robin that is about 10' high. It has new growth and leaf in the upper half but very little below. It is now more a tree than a shrub. I know I have neglected it, I should have pruned it long ago. It has had a scattering by KEF
