Collecting seeds
it around, and I will still be able to grow some from seed as well.  I collected some seeds of my ragged robin  a few weeks ago and sowed them........I've got quite few seedlings coming through. by Debs10

wet wild flower medow

Where are all the birds ?
in about the lack of birds. I have regular visits from loads of tits, several blackbirds, sparrows and our robin. Pigeons abound, doves visit and roving mobs of starlings appear daily.   Was somewhat surprised to see crows and a magpie robbing my fat balls by Lavender Lady

Hedgehog Watch!!!
right down in the soil.   I did refresh the little bowl of water yesterday, and it looks as though someone's had a good drink  We had a hedgehog a few years ago but haven't seen it for a long time. Saw a lovely robin today. by Dovefromabove

white bugs eating roots of fuchsia
not on edibles. The maggoty things turn into the weirdest looking little alien guys before becoming the adult weevil. Fascinating really, in a toe-curly kind of way. Fish love em tho, as do robins! by Ben Drake

Companions in the wildlife garden
goes away. I've got just 20 to start me off and if mine end up looking like yours happymarion I will be very pleased. The snowdrops really have snow now in Bristol and the wood pigeons are pinching the biscuit crumbs meant for my robin. We don't have by happymarion
