When to prune a mature Magnolia?
of growth and is now utterly shading the south end of the garden and the branches are touching the roof of the extension. I don't think its growth has been managed properly, there are at least 3 trunks and lots of offshoots. It's a stunningly beautiful tree by awheatley

Talkback: Urban foxes
I have two visiting foxes at present, one shy but one who just loves to sit and watch me work. My dopey squirrel is still around, the one who insists on going down flat to get under the side gate even when it is open. Having a very long garden by miss daisy
