Vine Weevil grubs and wild primrose
expensive but it goes further and is excellent for cleaning soil of blackspot around my roses. thanks all.. looking like another of the pots has trouble so might have to put that out also and wash & repot till warm enough for the nematoads! Looks like by Derby411

Climbing rose suggestions
got the lot..lol) and Princess Trust is the only rose I have to spray during spring to make sure it won't be hit by blackspots again..lovely rose though. Graham Thomas is one of the best climbers as well. I agree, Graham Thomas is gorgeous. I've had by maria 3

Poorly Rose
have tried so hopefully we will see some improvements soon. If the pot is swarming with ants there may be a nest there, which will be routing water and nutrients away from the rose's roots. It would be an idea to get rid of them. Might be blackspot by Lydia2

Roses
Can anyone advise ..I want a red perpetualm flowering climber for an archway ..max 8' high , must be blackspot resistant , am I asking to much  ? I have a Zephrine Drouhine at present and every year it is denuded by black spot...   I have the same by Wendy7

Nematodes...every slugs enemy:)
caulis, sprouts and broccolli this  year, and I've heard that the slug gone is very useful to use as a mulch around them. They also have other stuff in there, including ladybird larvae, glue bands, sulphur rose (for treating blackspot), you name it by The Manic Slughunter:)

June in Your Garden!
babies--I have 6 self-seeded ones in a pot, and two are 6" tall already. They are "Rose Glow" as well--and bright pink. Bonus! @Inkadog, oh how lovely! I've never had any seedlings of berberis......yet. I should very much like some although by Wintersong
