Poorly Rose

Where do I plant garlic cloves some say if you put them near roses it will avoid diseases on the bushes? This is a greta idea, with easy to follow instructions. Will make lovely xmas pressys too! i will let GW know how I get on. Very pleased, very by docherty1

BARE ROOT ROSES
and clay which would accommodate these roses and will visit the garden centre for some suitable compost.  They can live in a sheltered spot at the rear of the garage until I can get them planted. Thank you all very much. Put them in a pot and cover by pinkpeony

Climbing rose suggestions
Jekyll, an Austin rose which again is very fragrant and lasts pretty well in the vase, with old-fashioned flowers in a gorgeous, vibrant pink which repeat well once the rose is established. Lucky you, with so many goodies to choose from - my garden's too by maria 3

.... because my wife is living with me in the uk,i wanted to make a small memorial garden,in our garden. her mothers name was VERA, so i was wondering if anyone knew of which plants,were of this name....?  i was hoping maybe for roses,or minature roses by scott tyldesley

Weeping Rose
Hi We have a weeping rose tree in a pot which we plan on planting out next year.....girl at the garden centre told us we dont need to hide it in the garage as long as we protect the pot over winter. Any ideas what we should use to protect the pot by Brycey D

Queen Elizabeth rose
All the roses with this name now seem to be yellow.  Although we had a pink, fragrant, low growing bush in our garden in Gatley (Nr. Manchester), over 30 years ago which was easy to strike from cuttings and a lovely pale pink. Wondered what had by Lizzie3
