After the Weedkiller
Two weeks ago I spread all the weeds in the rose garden which has worked.  What I do not know is what to do with the dead weeds.  Do I dig them out or dig them in? You don't actually have to do either-they will just rot away so it is up to you. by newbee

Salix Integra "Flamingo"
I have 6 Flamingo trees planted planted between roses in my front garden and have done well over the last 7 years but one tree this year has stil not come into leaf and the stems and buds look red and brittle.  Is it diseased? will it come back by Esther Barnes

Rose Bed
the garden centre at RHS Wisley twice over the last 2 years checking the scent of their plants for our garden and very few modern roses have a strong scent, even when the labelling recommends them for scent, with 1 great exception, "Gertrude Jekyll". This has by rosiehelenmac

Need a rose recommendation
://www.davidaustinroses.com/ You might look for Gardeners Glory. It is quite new, but looks and smells delicious!     Maigold is a beautiful rose, Daffodil Yellow,, Scented, Flowers 3" to 4" across and comes into bloom end of April if south facing. It has flowers on until the end by Maxcat

Climbing Roses
Hello all I need suggestions for a good climbing Rose, for a west facing stone wall (see picture below, the wall is around 6ft high but i will be getting a chain link fence above that) I liked the one they used in the 1st episode of Gardeners world by Steve Worthing

Deer proof plants and shrubs
Deer eat almost everything I plant including thorny roses.  Apart from looking in other people's gardens to see what they grow I would like any information on suitable plants and shrubs please. Owning 10 country acres includes all the wildlife.  One by patgee

Cutting back crossing branches on roses or not
garden. I don't have much gardening expirience. Before I just had a small backyard with few containers. The roses grow quite tall and have been wraped around my patio posts. They had a lovely big flowers last year. A friend of mine thinks by Karolina Porter

Naked Rose
it comes to roses. I'm not disheartened though - I've learnt that they are pretty hardy. I'll carry on with nurturing it and hopefully it'll bloom again beautifully this summer. Thank 'Gardening Grandma' (great name) I have "A Shropshire Lad". It keeps a by angiepangie
