best shrub rose for an east fence
I have a space in an east facing border I'd like to fill with a shrub rose. I have loads of other roses in my garden, as the soil is perfect for them - heavy, clay, free draining etc. but none in that particular bed. Ideally looking for a white by freshairfanatic

Rose with scented leaves
Many years ago I had a rose with scented leaves, the flowers were small and pink and the leaves were pale/mid green, can anyone tell me what it was. well it may have been the Sweet Briar rose - R. Eglanteria, which is also known now as R. Rubiginosa by Sizeyuk1

New roses for old
There's  a rose I'm fond of, but which is twenty years old and definitely flagging. Can I perpetuate it successfully with cuttings? i.e will the new plants behave like new young roses and have a twelve-year lifespan, or will they behave like a by Naki

Rose black spot?
I just planted my first rose plan (tea hybrid)t 2 weeks ago. Not long after that, I discovered the leaves were getting black spots. I sprayed some 'Rose Clear Ultra' a week ago. Now, a week later, more leaves are having black spots. What shall I do by Kitty Jingga

I Have 3 established rose bushe's that I reluctantly have to move, what is the best time of the year to do this? and what would be the best way to do this The best time is just now really. Prepare their new hole and add a bit of bone meal or some by martin shep

poco triste no? bit gloomy the purple heuchera and violas under our dull skies now? I'd underplant a white rose with a variegated vinca and white winter pansies. Glow in the twilight. Purple just disappears. Or it would look good with good with RED by titaflan
