Pruning standard roses
I'm lucky enough to be the custodian of a historic property with a small walled garden which I am also responsible for. I have a pair of standard roses which are so old that they have trunks rather than stems! Whilst I'm normally fearless at pruning by Cetti

ROSES
Due to the snow and cold I havent done much pruning to my roses which are probably far too tall as I didnt prune last autumn either (new to gardening). Is it too late to prune them as they are no longer dormant? Would it do more harm than good by Brycey D

Overgrown rose bush
Hi,   We moved house last year and have inherited a rose bush in the front garden. I have no idea what variety it is but I don’t think it’s had much care in the past.   It’s about 50 cm round but has grown to over 6ft tall; many of the branches by SBails

roses
Dear all, I have a garage at bottom of my garden. I'd like to have 2 roses climbing on it. I have looked at the David Austin site and had some suggestions from them. I wanted one red and one yellow. Here are the 4 I have in mind, but I only need 2 by Bill Mansfield

Yellow Rose - bought as a miniature
Hi all I purchased a miniature rose a couple of years ago with beautiful yellow fragrant flowers (unsure of its name).  Last year due to the mild winter it never seemed to go dormant, and this year it has grown tall and leggy and looks a bit by mdw84

Planting out pot grown roses
Hi everyone, I have over a dozen 12 inch "kiftsgate" climbing rose plants which are getting stressed waiting in pots. I intend to plant them along an old stock fence, and train them along it, through the wild fuschia bushes and Elders that have by Dinah
