Lawns
, high cut sometime soon, weed and feed, borrow a scarifier, I’ve heard of using sand (?)  - any suggestions please? (we should not have a frost in Devon next week) If it's as wet as mine I'd keep off it. No point in doing anything till it dries out by Devon Gardener

Moss patches
lawn soil and lawn feed and seeding.  Any advice ?  Is this the wrong time of year to be doing this.  Am planning to scarify in autumn. I would treat with Weed & Feed or Evergreen 80, then when the moss has blackened  you can use the electric rake by Peanuts3

By hand or machine?
help! My lawn is covered in moss, from a distance it looks green and normal but as you get nearer you can see its just covered with dense moss. When you walk on it it's like walking on sponge. Now I know I need to aerate it and scarify by yvonne parsons2

Moss
- scarifying with a spring tine rake first of all will remove any thatch,  then aerating using  a hollow tined aerator will remove plugs of soil, allowing you to rub in a top dressing of  a mix of loam, grit, and compost (3 parts to 6 to 1, respectively by Typewriter
