Don't let it get you all down so much! Plan your gardens for the spring and summer. Get the seed catalogues out and save yourself some money buy growing your own plants. Work out your colours for pots and hanging baskets rather than going by willow

Walking onion
decorative onions and used the little onions to make pickled onions for Xmas. I suppose they did "walk" as any that fell from the flowerhead would grow.  I am sure they are still in the seed catalogues. I forgot to say they were very invasive here in Bristol by chickenlady

Cheap seeds
is if there is seeds they don't have but I want sometimes easier to look though catalogues at home and order them off bigger companies. But do like cheap seeds of flowers or veg Lots of nice cheap seeds at 99p stores wild flower boxes and packets I brought pack covers by artjak

onions seeds or onion sets
that you get them from a reputable place (I order mine from The Daily MIrror gardening catalogue)and I've always had a decent yield....Happy Gardening. Funnily enough, I've never had much luck with sets. I find they rarely achieve a typical size. Seeds by neil0748

Fine Green beans in the shops
My missus loves these, so I want to grow them, what are they? Are they dwarf french beans or? Some I've seen in catalogues include Climbing bean Cobra and also dwarf bean Delinel. I only grow runners, despise broad beans, so am at a bit of a loss by BrummieBen
