to destroy all but six tomatoes, and even they are suspect. I am SO upset and disillusioned with home growing after all the work I put in. Can anyone out there give some words of encouragement at this sad time of loss? Is it too soon to sow tomato seeds by Baby Dragon

having got lots of seedlings from my sowings and with the weather being so cold I am running out of space in the house. Can I put them out into my 5 tier free standing greenhouse until I can plant them out. What sort of seeds are they?     Thanks by CLER

Talkback: How to mow your lawn
. Is there any piont in sowing grass seed on the areas that are massivlely overgrown with buttercups, they are just beginning to grow back now. My dream is to have a lovely grassy lawn....but i fear it may not be the case...any ideas, tips would be appreciated by kaycurtis

wisest use of space
with general planting and seed sowing etc. Or would i be better to plant blackberries and other soft fruit? Perfect spot for fan trained apricots and figs.  You could grow other soft fruit (black currants, gooseberries and strawberries, in front of them so by lisa massey

I give up!
, and sowed rows of radish, various lettuce, beetroot, spring onion and carrots.  I put in a seep hose which I used regularly, fed them all religiously and lovingly, carefully weeded out the lawn of holly seedlings which my neighbour's tree showers on my by francesmhendry

flowers from seed sown in Jan/Feb/Mar but hardy seedlings have done well in GH over winter, providing it's not to sever. So last year sowed stuff which flowered in their second year a month earlier than what it said on the packet (I'm in the North) it by Zoomer44
