Everbearing strawberries still fruiting in October
The strawberries are still producing loads of fruit but it's not ripening any more and the slugs are now going for the unripe ones.  Will they ripen on the windowsill if I take them off?  Should I take off all the leaves and fruit now? by David Brown

Overwintering young delhinium plants
Hi, Just bought a couple of young delphiniums from the GC.  They are about 2 inches in height and have about 4 small leaves. Is it better to overwinter these in pots or plant them now in the garden ?   Are there still slugs about as they love by Chris 7

Aubretia
? If the aubretia has finished flowering, you want to cut it as low as possible, only the flowers, for good show next year.  It might take a season to really settle in well. Check for slugs under the leaves. Thanks, checked under plant as you suggested and found a by bryf

veg suggestion please!!
Please! Please! Can someone suggest a vegetable that I could plant in a sheltered sunny position, that the slugs will not eat! I am totally fed up with them after they devoured all my tomato and courgette plants, that I thought were suitably mature by artychris

grubs problem
in advance Pictures would be helpful...but I think the culprit may well be slugs/snails.  Beat me too it slugs, get some pellets down, you will probably find slugs hiding near by.   Yep, slugs and snails love petunias. Initially thought this though I by Karen Mawhinney

pests
is more likely to be Keel slugs, so sprinkle some slug pellets on the compost. I had never realised how athletic slugs can be until I found a whole group of them in the ivy at the top of a nearly six-foot wall. Or is Next Door disposing of his slugs by sile

Snowdrops
I don't see any slugs, but we do have mice and squirrels in the garden. Could it be either one of these or something else. I understood snowdrops to be toxic and thought nothing would touch them. It could be slugs they will hide during the day by gardengnome2
