Mini greehouse slugs
I have a small back garden and a small allotment plot, I use 2 of the plastic mini greenhouses (4 tiers) to start most of my crops off.  I have just been out to have a quick look at everything and find slugs have eaten 3/4 of my tomato seedlings.  I by wrightnuk

Slugs may destroy my life
Hello all my lovely gardening folks. I've tried everything. nematodes pellets beer the lot.  last year my garden was destroyed by slugs. My lovingly nurtured dahlias were eaten to the ground in one night. No delphiniums survived. Green brands by Rampant climber

Are these leopard slugs?
I found these under an old planet pot not used for a few years. I want to know if they are leopard slugs or do I need to kill them now?     Look like them to me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limax_maximus but I'm not an expert - anybody else by Amy-new-at-this

Slug invasion
Despite a very dry start to the year where I had difficulty getting seeds to germinate, or plants to establish ( we don't have piped water on the allotments, and the captured water ran out very early), the end of the year has seen a massive slug by Campbell McKee

Slug warfare
I can't believe I've just spent the last half hour wearing headtorch and spearing 35 slugs with a wooden skewer. These beasts are really getting to me this year. I think they are living in the soil in the cracks between the flags on the patio by Jigsaw Gill

Talkback: Slugs
I can't help laughing at all the articles I keep reading on slugs and snails and what people do to them, I've not give up and I think some people {nieghbours} may think I'm mad in and out at night and half grapefruit skins between plants all over by Elisabeth Telford
