slugs and flour
Hi ,last week i tried the flour and water slug traps along with a sugar one the same way,,, results sugar trap 4,,,, flour trap first 3 days 20 last 4 days 32 all  mixed  sizes i also had an old shed door lieing flat on a bed im getting ready by 4711

Im about to begin an experiment using human hair as a deterrent for slugs and snails, i have heard that this works really well as hair has tiny barbs on it and they dont like it, i wonder has anyone tried this??it will hopefully help against by rosie plum

Slug Pellets
Is it just me or has anyone else had problems with 'furry' slug pellets? I know they usually 'breakdown' after a while, but they have swollen up and gone all furry !  I don't know whether it is because they are old or whether they were just a cheap by Moemye

Slugs and snails
I am so impressed with this concoction that I feel I have a duty to broadcast it to everyone. I have been plagued for years with slugs and snails eating my plants, as soon as they poke their heads out of the soil, they are attacked.  I have tried by Chrissie05

Hi can anybody tell how to stop slugs and snails eating my clematis every year it is the same.I've tried pellets around the bottom, copper tape around the pot and keeping foliage from other plants away so that the slugs and snails can't reach across by carolyn gray

chickens and slug pellets
Hi has anyone got any info on the effects of slug pellets and chickens. At present i dont use any, but my crops are being eaten alive.  Am i safe to use 'green' ones in my garden as my chicken do have limited access to the beds when i have no crops by chicken!

Advice on slug free plants
Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone would know whether Rudbeckia plants are prone to slug damage or any other damage as far as that goes.  I am really fed up with fighting off slugs and snails and want to grow some tall, hardy flowers like rudbeckia by sterelitza

Slugs v Campanula
We planted some new campanula plants recently on the top of our wall. Within 24hours they looked to have been eaten. At first I accused my husband of being 'secateur-happy' but this he denied. What I want to know is - do slugs eat campanula?  Yes by Jane12

iv'e been gardening for 3 season's and had trouble with slugs and snails every yaer how can i keep them down   can anyone help I use slug trap from Poundland part filled with beer and place them round the garden.  I know family and friends who go by Jonathan 3

At wits end with carrots and slugs
