Shady spots
Hey all, I'm in need of some low-growing plants to cover ground and perhaps even trail down at the front of some dry stone terrace walls. Its all partially or even fully shady and slugs and snails are a nightmare because of the nooks and crannies by auntie betty

pot pests
I've put up with all sorts in the greenhouse this year, including slugs sneaking in, but I've just upturned a pepper plant that looked a bit poorly and found what I thought was a tiny worm on the outside of the pot at the bottom. On closer by maggie-1

sheep wool
Sheep wool pellets seem to be a good deterrent for slugs but has anyone tried collecting sheep wool from from fields and hedges and using that? I'm trying it from today but wondered if the wool will attract mice for their nests. The sheep wool by Sheila 5

how do i stop woodlice eating my strawberries
Woodlice only move in after something else - probably slugs - has already damaged the fruit. To try and control slugs, you could try raising the strawberries, straw underneath the fruit, or wildlife-friendly slug pellets. by shirley bruton
