The slugs are coming up the tree across a metal bar then down to the bird feeder 4 or 5 each night why do they like the wild bird seed? Can put salt down but thats not nice . slugs will eat anything that's not moving( and also rats and mice by richard howard

Lupins - victim of slug attack

I wonder if anyone has same problem as me.. 2yrs ago got rid of pond with frogs in.. bad move.. did`nt realise what a wonderful job they do... we must over the last 6wks killed over 200 slugs..very big orange ones too... lost count with snails.. I by jean linsley

but will get rid those horrid slugs and snails which I have an abundance of; and those underground too. I have tried so many things and always end up with the pellets as this is the only way to get rid of them, although I am so aware of the harm to the birds by Pamelala
