new years resolution
I am going to do everything the right way,no short cuts ,no lazy way out of doing things,going to be on time and have a stunning display despite all the weather and slugs throw at me.Going to be kind to all wildlife even if they wreck my displays by flowering rose

potatoes in pots or dustbins this year, I cannot grow them in the garden here as the last time I tried every single potato was full of little holes, slug damage! Has anyone got any tips on how to grow them in large pots or bins! While on the subject by Marc

!My main problem when growing strawberries is the blackbirds. You will probably have to develop methods for keeping birds away, possibly using netting. Poor old Blackbird he seems to be getting the blame for the damage done to stawberry crops, I think slugs by benjamin9876

leaves? will this do them any harm? have put slug pellets around them lots of dead snails?but i think something that is not interested in slug pellets is having a good munch no rabbits in this area? any ideas fellow first potatoe growers? My potatoes by ALEX

growing through this and hopefully this will include an assortment of bulbs which I have bought. I shall need to have a decent layer of sand in the planting area for bulbs as the clay soil seems to suit the snails and slugs very well as a habitat. I hope by Girlsrock2
