Eaten snowdrops
All my snowdrop petals have been eaten.  Would this be slugs and snails?  Shouldn't they be hibernating at this time of year? Have they been eaten or are they still lying there. Birds sometimes just peck flowers off and leave them. Doubt slugs by Caroline6

What's eating my seedlings?!
ideas what it could be, I wondered about mice? Slugs/snails more than likely I go for slugs and snails too, I've had similar things happen last year to mine. They can really do a lot of damage to young seedlings Thank you for reminding me to put some by Justin iow

What is eating these chilli seedlings
seems to quite tally. Wondered whether anyone else recognised the same issue and knew what it was. I have managed to replant seeds and grow on indoors, my friend may not be so lucky so late in the year. Thanks Paul Slugs or snails ate one of mine. A few by paul_wright

Young perennials/seedtrays in or out of greenhouse?
& snails!   I'm thinking of putting them in the unheated greenhouse now to over winter. They're getting so sodden all the time they don't look very healthy.  This will also give slug/snail protection.  Good idea or bad? Sounds like a great plan to me. I by Lokelani

Dahlia tubers
. Altenatively pot them up in ordinary potting compost and keep them warm. They should show green leaves soon(beware slugs and snails) and then you can plant out in June. Thanks - will do by Lizgoodbody

best annuals for shade / partial shade
what do you have success with in these kinds of places to add colour after June? I mainly need to plant in stealth pots (long toms painted dark brown) to stand a chance against slugs and snails. Antirrhinum and nicotiana always do okay, but I by auntie betty
