bags in the garden. I haven't been able to harvest any because of the heavy snow, will they be ok to harvest and eat when the thaw comes? Any help welcome. I find that if they are in the ground over winter the skins get cankery but the inside is still by Lainey

the weekend thanks for that. thought the forecast (according to the newspapers anyway) it's going to get really cold, and we may even have snow on higher ground again. even if we don't have snow they said we could get frosty nights. am i looking at the wrong by shazza3

does not look good> I have been usong Green Thumb for years. they tell me I now have Snow mould< Help oh dear I do hope it improves i just want it to thicken up! thanks to you all x hi joan, what is snow mould. the blades of grass on my lawn are turning by denise butcher

help needed with identification
Whilst walking through the snow I saw this wonderful hedge, about 3' high, covered in what I originally thought were small citrus fruit.  I know someone will identify it for me and can I propagate from the seeds I have please? My first thought by break23

Will my winter pansies ever flower?
find that the little violas and the viola x pansy 'Panolas' flower almost non-stop through the winter, in all but the harshest weather - then as soon as the snow melts they're smiling back at me again. good stuff, sounds promising - watch this space My by Dave19

Pruning Raspberrys Help Please
and give all the plants a good feed to encourage strong growth. obelixx - If my stems already have buds on them should I cut them? I'm not sure if the buds are new or whether they have been there a while, with the snow I've not been to look that regularly by saltski

Has spring arrived for you yet?
killed all my peaches off.  It hasn't.  Snow forecast for Tuesday after 2 days of heavy rain.  Joy. amazing the difference on such a small island, my daffs etc are only just poking through up here in sunderland. Saying that im on the outskirts in the city by daydaisy

Friday picture thread
!) but I got rid of that last year and the rose and honeysuckle are coming through nicely.  The whole bed was buried for nearly two weeks under snow and then we've been stripping back the front of the shed so a job for this weekend is putting up some wires by ShropshireLass
